I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Hogan as a green rest./bar manager over 30 yrs. ago. Mr.Hogan was kind & full of knowledge,I still have the O'keefe opener he gave me. A few short years later,my husband Paul& I bought a house on Lawrence.rd.,& to my surprise & blessing discovered Mr.Hogan and the lovely Mrs.Hogan were our neighbours. Paul is a huge hockey fan & Mr. Hogan gave him a call to meet a famous player who just so happened to be over visiting. Through the years we were always welcomed in their home, as well as our 2 children. Halloween always meant a special treat. Our daughter Jasmine grew into quite an athlete and Mr. Hogan was always one of her biggest cheer leaders. We would often see Mr. Hogan by the fence at one of her races or in the stands. Jasmine successfully medalled in an all ontario event & couldn't wait to share her success with Mr.Hogan. I don't know if he ever realized how much of a mentor he was. God bless you!
