Dear Joan, Kristen and Karalyn. My sincere condolences on Bernie's passing. I recall, with great fondness, the times we spent together in Derwent, Edmonton and during my first year of law, in Windsor in 1987-1988. I remember when you and Bernie returned from Germany and were visiting your mother (Woloshyn) in Derwent. I caught a ride with you from Derwent to Edmonton in your new MB sportscar. Bernie terrified me as a young boy by driving like he was on the autobahn in Germany. Later, when I started my law degree at the University of Windsor and was away from my immediate family, I recall visiting you for Sunday dinners. It was wonderful to be so far from home and be welcomed by your family. I pray that God will give each of you peace and strengthed faith through these troubling times. Bernie and each of you are in my daily prayers. I regret that I am not able to travel from Dubai at this time to celebrate Bernie's life with you. Please keep in contact with me. Love and God Bless, your nephew and cousin, Dennis.
