Please accept our depest condolences for your loss of a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. "Louie" as I have always known him, was an exceptionally kind, caring and selfless person who always looked out for his neighbours and friends. So often he came to our house to make sure my Grandma was OK, and in recent years, looking out for Stan as well. I last saw Louie on Christmas Day (4 years ago) when the donut shop @ Tecumseh & Westminster blew up. Amazing things can happen when the hydro goes off...I came for a brief visit and ended up staying for 3 hours, reminiscing with all of you - Liz, Louie, Betty-Lou, Mike & Judy, Aundrea and a slew of kids. As always, Louie made the best of the situation, and while we got caught up (and the turkey remained on hold in the oven), Louie encouraged a friendship between Lucas and Anthony. The boys went to Grama Bah's to play Gamecube because for some reason, Mom still had hydro! I often spoke to Louie about the beautiful Rose of Sharon bushes which grew so plentiful beside his garage; he gave some to Dad, and they flourished. Dad gave some to me, and I now have 7 beautiful plants which are all blooming into the fall. I have divided them several times and passed them onto friends, always telling the story of how I accquired these amazing plants. Rest assured that Louie's legacy lives on, even in Orangeville. Dad will surely be following Louie very soon...I can only try my best to prepare Anthony for the inevitable. Meanwhile, I can visualize Louie and Stan, in a better place, discussing the economic state of Windsor, current politics, and of course, gardening and food. And Grandma will keep watch over both of them...I love you all...please keep in touch. Margi, Anthony & Coco
