I am so very sorry for your loss . Chris was a decent guy and I have fond memories of the hi-jinx that we perpetrated in our youth. While we had lost contact over the past 20 or so years , we had recently re-connected on face book . He will be missed. and remember by me fondly. My condolances ... Chris Daugharty

Tina, Nikki and Matthew, Treasure all the good times and memories you had as a family. Your husband and father will be looking down upon you with great love and pride. I was always pleased to talk with Chris when I saw him at school. He showed so much care and compassion when he learned my son Andrew was in Iraq. He told me how all of you as a family would pray for him at the dinner table. Thank you. I , as well, will be praying for Chris and all of you. God Bless. Nancy

My heart is with the entire Bendo family. Chris has been an inspiration to me in more ways than one. Upon learning of Chris' death, I composed a musical piece entitled "A Tribute to Chris Bendo" that I lovingly give to the entire Bendo Family to show my love and respect and gratitude. I do not have the same musical talent as Chris. It will take me some amount of work to play the song without errors. When I am able to do so I will make CD's for the Bendos, whom I greatly admire. For now, you can listen to my Tribute to Chris online at www.michaelducharme.net. The music flowed straight from my heart so I hope you can forgive a few off-key notes.

Dear Bendo Family, My deepest sympathy's to the entire Bendo Family, on the untimely passing of Chris. I was fortunate enough to spend 5 energetic mintues with Chris just last week, as he finished the 9th hole at Essex Golf Club. Chris walk over as I was putting with my daughter. Chris and I laughed as we caught up with each other's lives and past times we spent together. I introduced Chris to my daughter[Jessica] and credited Chris and the 'Stingray Putter', for the 1st time I ever broke 70 in golf. I told Chris and Jessica, that I truely believe he was; "ahead of his time";, with the Stingray Putter. Chris just laughed off one of, 'Lifes Divine Order's', acknowledging I was probably right. Though I was unaware, it doesn't surprise me that Chris was an accomplished musician as his 'abilities and imagination', were second to none . In closing, my sincere condolences to the entire 'Family', it's hard to explain and justify 'Lifes Grand Order', only that we can be certain that Chris's 'sprit and memories', will never leave us.. God Bless...Scott Mallender

We are so sorry to see and hear that Chris has passed away, we really can't believe it. At Christmas Eve, the kids used to say, "is Ho Ho coming today at Aunt Josie and Uncle Ricks house?" Our holidays will never be the same. He will truly be missed, his laughter, smile and how he was always full of compliments. Chris, Sam and I (Angie), we will have an espresso for you. Just this past Christmas, Chris taught David to play pool, so David played a game of pool in his honour. David will truly miss playing pool and talking about movies with Uncle Chris. Robert will always remember and miss all the fun times at Beach Grove, at their house, and going out for dinner. Uncle Chris we all love you very much. Please give Kayla a hug and kiss from all of us. Love, Sam, Angie, Robert and David
