Dearest Marie, Peter, Carlos, Vanessa and families, I grew up knowing your Mother, Father and your family through Most Precious Blood Parish. Our parents were good friends. Your Mom was the kindest, most loving woman! As you said, always smiling, a great giver of hugs, and thankful for the gifts of life...the little details. She was a person who, when she saw you, invited you into a conversation, focused on you with great enthusiasm when you were talking to her (making you feel loved, welcomed and important to her)..and when leaving the conversation, you always felt uplifted. She was often a bright light to many a darkened day. I always enjoyed seeing your parents and talking to them at the church functions we attended together...your Dad’s exuberance and sense of humour were always appreciated. They were pillars of our church family. One standard among them, though, was their Faith. Even in the hardest of times, they walked with trust, hope and great love. I never ever heard your Mom say negative things or gossip against anyone. I saw her compassion and ability to redirect a negative conversation into a positive one. She always found a “bright side”. That is something all of us need to work on, seeing our cups as “half full”, and finding the joy in that. The love and prayers of a Mother for her children are like no other. I truly hope and pray that your Mother’s gifts are imparted to each of you and that you are Blessed with the Wisdom and Uplifting Spirit she brought to others. What GREAT JOY your Mom must be experiencing, hugging Jesus and being reunited with her “Beloveds”, enveloped in the love of all the Heavenly Hosts! We are very truly sorry for your loss. Loving you all, and keeping you in our prayers, Lily (nee Maceyovski), Bianca, Kiara and Anthony Lenarduzzi
