Obituary of James Alan Cobham

COBHAM, James Alan Passed away on March 30, 2012 at 76 years of age. Beloved husband of 52 years to Marie. Loving father of Lynn of Peterborough, and Lori (Doug) of Windsor. Adored Papa of Madelaine and Max. Predeceased by his parents William and Ada. Jim faced a lifetime of health obstacles but still managed to live a full life surrounded by his family which was the most important thing to him. He spent many years cottaging in the Kawarthas and happily retired there with Marie and Lynn after a long career of many years of service with Fairview Fittings and Manufacturing. He and Marie moved to Windsor 2 years ago to be closer to their family and Jim enjoyed that precious time with his grandchildren. He fought his last battle courageously but knew he couldn"t continue any longer. He leaves his family heartbroken but his struggles are over and he is at peace. He leaves us with lasting fond memories of a truly remarkable man. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Monday, April 2, 2012 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service on Tuesday, April 3 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Cremation to follow.
