Hamilton Ginny (Virginia B) (nee Parent) At 91 years, Ginny passed away peacefully on August 20, 2011 at WRH, Met Campus. Born in Ford City, June 10, 1920, she was the eldest child of Bill and Julia Parent. Ginny shared 54 years of marriage with Jim (1995) and was the dear mother of "The Kid", Sharon Jones. She was the very proud Nana of her "Angels": Brian Jones and Alison Kitts (Jon) and the delighted great Nana of 3 more "Angels": Charlie, Brandon and Lily. She was also loved by her surviving sister Phyllis McCann (Jerry) and brother David Parent as well as those who predeceased her: Robert, Leo, Theresa (Diemer) and Richard. She is also survived by several very special nieces and nephews as well as lifelong friends. In her earlier years Ginny enjoyed many needlework and craft activities as well as the 40 winters spent with Jim in Florida where she became the "Shuffleboard Queen". Ginny loved to walk, often chatting with her Kildare Rd friends and in her 70"s found a new passion in Tai Chi at the Senior Citizens Centre. For the past 6 years Ginny thoroughly enjoyed her new home at Oak Park Terrace where she participated in many activities and continued her favourite hobby of socializing with new friends. Heartfelt thanks to all of the very special staff of Oak Park for those 6 years. Special thanks also to Drs. Patterson, Kizis and Seske and the incredible staff at Met, especially 4N and 5N. God Bless each of you. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd.
