I will miss her dearly. We had many laughs and many epic battles with management. She was a Pit Bull when it came to our rights and never ever backed down for one of her union brothers or sisters. We shared some fine dining when were were working the counter at the warehouse and we had many laughs together. We shared recipes some funny stories that only Italians would understand why they were so funny. My condolences to Livio, Jessica and Daniel. She always spoke so proudly of all three of you and this big smile appeared every time she talked about the three of you. I know she will be happy being in the company of God but we will miss you dearly. Silvio Civitarese

Livio, Jessica and Daniel, I don't know where to begin, I’ve known Rosa since my early childhood. She was everyone's mom and friend. Our friendship continued to grow through high school, college and at work. I will never forget my first shift at the CBSA, I came in for my midnight shift and Rosa called out my name, I was met with her infectious smile and her bear hug. She introduced me to everyone on shift and made sure I would be taken care of during the night shift. We would drive into work together, and in true Rosa form, she would get into the car, hair soaking wet, put on her makeup while I drove, and would make sure to point out that I could hit a few less bumps while applying her mascara! I think some of my fondest memories are the 5 weeks we travelled through Europe. The things we did, and laughs, and talks we had will never be erased. Our adventures arriving in France and all the military presence due to terrorist acts, Spain and the World Cup Soccer Championship as we got off the train, your reaction to the Swiss Alps, and Octoberfest in Germany. I can still hear your laughter and hear your voice as we experienced it. I think we slept for two days when we finally got into my moms home town. Then your world shifted as you fell in love with Livio, and your life became complete with the births of Jessica and Daniel. When we spoke about Livio and the kids your eyes filled with love and pride. Our last chat was just a short time ago in Zehrs, as we spoke about your to do list for Livio, (Livio it was endless), and caught up about our children. You made me laugh as you always did, as every employee at Zehrs greeted you, and in true Rosa form, asking a young man to get you some fresher produce from the back as you did not like what was on the shelf. We parted that afternoon agreeing to get together soon. I will miss you my dear friend, you made everyone feel like part of your family, your love for all your friends and family is a sign of who you were, you made us all smile and remember the good people in life. You brought out the good in all of us. You have left a huge void, I will miss you ciao Bella. Mara Beaudoin

Dear Liv, Daniel and Jessica: God must have great plans for Rosa and I am sure the conversation between the two of them about her joining him right now would have been a powerful one that she would have put all her might into! I am sure she would have wanted nothing more than to stay here to take care of you. We will miss Rosa greatly. Her good heart, her roaring laugh, her larger than life personality. You are so correct to describe her as empowering. And she definitely was a champion for transparency and what was right and just. I hope that your wonderful memories of her will help you heal through time. No doubt she will use her angels wings to watch over you Daniel and Jessica, to make sure you continue to follow the path that she has already started to lead you down. Liv, I hope you find comfort in and with your kids. Rosa loved you all dearly. My deepest sympathies. Laurie A. Langlois.
