Obituary of Irene Marzin

MARZIN, Irene (nee Martinuzzi) Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Southwood Lakes on March 23, 2010 at the age of 99 years. Predeceased by her husband Virginio (1970). Loving mother to Noria and husband Lou Sedran, Velma and husband Arnaldo Barei, Anita and husband Jerry Allen, Ron and wife Sandy Marzin. Cherished Noni to 13 grandchildren Lori (Jim), Brian (1997), Brenda, Bob (Lisa), Len (Tracey), Chris (Lana), Mark (Debra), Melanie, Todd (Michelle), Rodney (Laura), Jeff (2007), Barry (Donna), Debbie (1988) and great-grandmother of 20. Predeceased by siblings Falia, Norina, Maria, Dela, Guido, and Delfina. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Irene was a Honourary member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Caboto Club. She loved her gardening, her flowers, cat Febe and dog Taffy. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Parish prayers Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
