Obituary of Marc Aurele Fortier

FORTIER, Marc Aur"le Passed away on March 12, 2010 at home with his son Robert at his side, after a brave and courageous battle with lung cancer. Loving father of Robert Fortier. Friend of Reda Fudacz and mother of Robert. Beloved son of the late Stanislas and Laura Fortier. Dear brother of Laurette Brochu-Fortier, Annette Fortier, Madeleine Lapointe and husband Adrien, Camille Fortier (2009) and late wife Liliane, Adrien Fortier (2004) and survived by his wife Colette, Pamphile Fortier and wife Gilbete. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Marc retired from Ford of Canada after 25 years of service and was a member of C.A.W. Local 200. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Monday, March 15, 2010 from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers on Tuesday at 4 p.m. Funeral services on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to Our Lady of Assumption Parish for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
