My sincere sympathy to the family, in the passing of your Mom and Grandmother. I first met Rose at the farmer's market--Market Square. She would come to the market with her granddaughter, and buy many dozens of eggs and chicken. After a period of time, we became friendly, and I heard of her love for her family, her love of cooking and canning, etc. I have left the market, and am now in the practical nursing program at St. Clair College. It was a pleasant surprise to again meet Rose while I was in "training" at Chateau Park; I was helping the residents into the dining room when we noticed each other--she said, "I know you!", and I said, "I know you too!!" We hugged and shared the friendly bonds that we had engaged in at the market. To know your Mom was to love her. Her voice was distinct; and the hugs and love that she shared will always be remembered. It was a pleasure to know her. Sincerely, Peggy Vincent-McLean (Vincent Poultry)
