Obituary of Paul Arthur Ouellette

OUELLETTE, Paul Arthur Born Nov. 2, 1946 - Oct. 25, 2009 62 years. Passed away on October 25, 2009. Loving husband of 40 years to Alison (nee Hebert). Beloved father of Kirk and wife Agnes, Tokyo, Japan; David, Jessica Irene (Ouellette) Windsor and much loved adopted father of Delfin Pesito, Ottawa and former father-in-law, of Tony Irene, Oceanside, California. Cherished Pepe of Isabella and Daniel Ouellette, Tokyo and Hailey Irene, Windsor. Predeceased by his mother, Rita (Crowley) (2007) and father Earl (1971). Dearly loved by his siblings, Joseph, Gerard, Mary Kay de Peuter (Rene 2005) and Emerita Urquhart (Darcy) of Windsor and Peter (Nancy) Edmonton and John (Sandy) Victoria. Very much loved by sister-in-law Heather Gilbert (Bob) Windsor and brother-in-law, Bruce Hebert (Jim Lochead) Manilla, Philippines. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews in Canada and one in Australia and a great niece in Windsor. Paul will be greatly missed by his best and outstanding friends, Bern Ruel and Michael Denomme. Paul was a former co-owner of Acrolab Instrument for 22 years, where he and his brother Joe built a thriving business founded by their father Earl. His caring, generous soul and dry sense of humour will be missed as well as the audacious boating stories he shared with all. He treasured sailing on his boat Rapture gliding the blue waters"always ready for the next adventure over the horizon. He especially loved his kids and grand kids whom he adored and watched with joy. They will have fond memories of Pepe's smile. Grateful thanks to the kind ER nurses at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital. Special thanks to Dr. Wasserman, Dr. Kenya and the 7 West nurses. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday, October 27th from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are requested to meet at St. John Vianney Church (385 Dieppe) on Wednesday October 28, 2009 for visitation from 12 noon until time of Funeral Mass at 12:30 p.m. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made for the families of Windsor-Essex Family Network, 7025 Enterprise Way, Windsor and the Capital Campaign at St. John Vianney Church.
