Although I didn't know Paul personally I certainly have ties to the Ouellette family. I've been a friend of John and his wife Sandy for many years both in Windsor and now in Victoria. We loved all the Ouellettes! We had many happy times as neighbours and felt like we became part of each others families. Our sincere condolences to Alison, Kirk, David, and Jessica. God bless you all! Sailing on Lake St Clair will never be the same for us! We will always remember Paul with much fondness, he was a good friend. We often recall the times we raced to Belle River on the PY23s where the loser paid for dinner. Tim: "I cherish the memory if the trip with Paul non-stop Windsor to Tobermory on Rapture (C&C 33) . . . he was a fearless and skilled captain and accomplished sailor!"

Alison, My heartfelt condolences on the passing of your Paul and David's beloved Dad. I was so very sorry to hear about it when I returned from Toronto on Thursday. During the time I worked for David I remember Paul's quiet presence and the reassurance it gave David when Dad was around. I also remember that David totally "got" Paul's humour and thought his Dad was hilarious. David has certainly been blessed in parents! You all have been often in my thoughts over the years and I will continue to hold you in my thoughts and prayers as you journey together through this difficult time. Susanne
