Obituary of Edward (Ed) Wilkinson

It is with saddened hearts we announce the sudden passing of Ed Wilkinson. Predeceased by his loving wife Connie nee Janci (2018) to whom he was dedicated to for 38 years. Brother to the late Dan Wilkinson (2003). Uncle to the late Dan Wilkinson Jr. (2016), Kathleen (Len) Clapp, Maureen (Ed) Silvaggi. Brother in law to William (Anne) Janci. He will be missed by many family members and friends. Ed is a proud retired teacher from the Greater Essex County District School Board of 31 years. He was an active parishioner, an avid golfer and loved to play cards. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E 519.253.7234 on Wednesday February 26, 2020 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers at 7:30pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Anne’s Parish (12233 Tecumseh Rd. E) on Thursday February 27, 2020 at 10am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Peter’s Seminary, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario would be greatly appreciated.
