Obituary of William James Ryan
RYAN, William James Born December 13, 1916 and passed away August 24, 2009 at the age of 92 years. Bill is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Waiting for him was his one true love and childhood sweetheart Milly looking radiant and so beautiful. His daughter Pamela and many others were there, as well. No more fear, only love, joy and peace. Left behind are his seven sons and their families; Tim and Pat, Michael, Bill Jr. and Celeste, Rick and Elaine, Tom and Rose, Dave and Beverly, Bob and Theresa, as well as the many grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brother Tom and sister-in-law Fran. Bill was a proud Veteran of WWII and salutes all those still alive and those to be remembered for giving their lives for our freedom. Bill was an avid baseball fan for the Windsor Chiefs, as well as a Windsor Spitfire fan along with his wife Milly. Before leaving us he touched the lives of many people who felt the sincerity of his love and gratefulness for their care. He will not be forgotten. The family will receive friends at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, August 28, 2009 for visitation from 12 noon until time of Funeral Service and Veteran Service at 1 p.m., officiated by Rev. Stan Fraser, under the Auspices of the Windsor Veterans Memorial Services Committee. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Malden Park Continuing Care Centre, Palliative Care Unit,or the Windsor Veterans Memorial Service Committee.
