My sincerest condolences, and sympathies go out to all of those in the Ryan family. Bill was a great man. I knew him for years only on the baseball diamond, with Milly the love of his life, perched behind the backstop at soulliere field, in his and hers lawn chairs. I am the head coach of the windsor junior selects baseball team, and have been for 10 years. I played for the Windsor Chiefs and W.A.A. for years before that. He always talked to me, and had kind, and ecouraging words for me and my team. I always looked forward to his presence at the park. He was a fixture there, a part of my team. After Milly passed, i knew that i would not see him much anymore, if at all. He was a great man, and all who knew him, should be proud to say so.
