PORTER, William Grant Promoted to Glory on March 16, 2009 at Malden Park Continuing Care Centre at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Mary (Nee Hawkins). Loving father of Beth Mingay and husband Peter, Jillian Turner and husband Donald and Margaret Savage and husband John. Dearest grandfather of Jordan and wife Sarah, Lauren and husband Ben, Aaron, Caitlin, Benjamin, Jonathan, Matthew, Victoria, Christian and Nathan. Great grandfather of Alexis and Charlotte. Dear brother of Harry and wife Shirley, and Bob and wife Mary. Predeceased by Howard, Jack, Allan and Donald. Bill was a Veteran of WWII and proudly served with the Royal Canadian Navy. Memorial visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, March 22, 2009 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friends are invited to a Memorial Funeral Service on Monday, March 23, 2009 at Oakwood Bible Chapel (2514 Cabana Rd.
