Obituary of Nicholas Albert Katsilas

KATSILAS, Nicholas In the early hours of February 22, 2009 Nick Katsilas (24) fell asleep in the Lord. Distraught, he died from a broken heart. Beloved son of Fr. Dean and Patricia. Adored brother of Zak and Mike. Faithful husband to Kelly (Glen). He loved Bruce and Emma as if they were his own. He will be remembered by extended family from throughout the United States. Born on January 4, 1985, Nick was a graduate of Riverside Secondary School (2003). He was proud to be a driver for Brewers Retail, he loved sports, participating on many levels throughout his elementary and high school career. Nick also played and coached for Forest Glade Fastball, from the time that he was in Grade 2, up until the present. Nick was a good man, and will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Thursday February 26, 2009 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Prayer Service Thursday evening at 8:00 pm. The family will receive friends on Friday February 27, 2009 at St. John The Divine Russian Orthodox Church (1094 Drouillard Road at Richmond St.) for visitation from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 am.
