My condolences to the families. I met Sister Lise on Habitat Humanity build in 2000 on Memorial. I will never forget her sense of humor and beautiful voice.Heaven gained another beautiful soul .

The first time I actually met Sr. Lise was in Campus Ministry at Assumption High School. I remember the day because she was talking about her striped socks and how she thought they looked fabulous! Of course, after seeing them, I had to agree they were colorful and they did look fabulous! I ate a few lunches in Campus Ministry and Sr. Lise was always a hoot! She had the most wonderful voice and my mother was her biggest fan. Sr. Lise was always doing things for others and when my mother passed in July, Sr. Lise came to sing at her wake for my family. It meant the world to me and my family that she was able to share that time with us. She was Full of Life and will be greatly missed by many people, but I know she's already having fun singing with the Angels! Always missed, but never forgotten... Rest In Peace...Sr. Lise

I caught up with Lise (and cousin Jenny) at the gathering after mom’s funeral last October. I hadn’t seen the girls in many years and was so glad to have a chance to reconnect. We chatted about music, which was a wonderful common passion to share. Lise was filled with energy and spirit, and I have thought about that a lot in the last while. Mom had also enjoyed the music Lise posted on Facebook during covid and that had meant a lot to mom, who spent that time, as so many did, housebound but united to others via the internet and the shared love of song. Now Lise has joined a heavenly choir. Rest in peace and sing with the angels. Maureen Moloney

As an attendant for the parking lot at Assumption Church, I would see Sr. Lise come in on a fairly regular basis. On a few of those occasions, she would smile at me and say "hey, handsome." It always made me feel good. While I had brief interactions with her, she seemed like a very sweet lady that smiled a lot and had a genuine zest for life. My sympathies go out to the family of Sr. Lise and to her friends.

My deepest condolences to the family. I have fond memories of sister Lise back when I was a student at Assumption. Us students spent many lunches in campus ministry chatting away with Sr. Lise. May she rest in peace.

My deepst condolences on the passing of Sr. Lise, the most dedicated member of the parish softball team. She was always the first person with a smile or a word of encouragement when someone needed it most. I remembe her taking the time to ask me about how school was going and my dreams for the future. She was always very kind to me and my brother. Rest in peace Sr Lise, the greatest pinch hitter in the history of Wilson Park.

Deepest sympathies to the Jolie and Harrington families and and her sisters in the family of SNJM. Many fond memories of Sr. Lise... playing pickup softball with a "ragtag" group from the parish, her getting such a "kick" out of my nickname, time at Assumption Church, etc. We were blessed to have Sr. Lise wonderfully perform, during the pandemic, the music when Nancy and I married. Sr. Lise joined us for the post-wedding family meal, sitting at the table with my parents, where they all had a fantastic time despite being the first time they'd ever met. As part of God's plan, my father peacefully joined Sr. Lise in Heaven later on the day of her passing. Eternal peaceful rest, Sr. Lise.

My deepest sympathies on the loss of Sister Lise. I first met Sister Lise in my Grade 9 year at Brennan. I remember her talking during our welcome assembly about how nervous she was with being new to the school and I was immediately drawn to her for her honesty. I loved singing with her in the liturgy choir she formed at the school...she had such a beautiful voice. She was instrumental in helping me through the death of my father in grade 11. I truly owe my strong relationship with God to her, as she was the pivotal person who helped solidify my faith. I couldn't have gotten through high school without her loving guidance. The last time I saw her was a surprise. I had been made homeless and was living at a shelter and was holding on to only a sliver of my faith. I decided to attend Mass at Assumption church and suddenly heard this angelic, yet familiar, voice singing. When the priest mentioned her name during his homily, I immediately burst into tears and a smile because I knew God had put her in my path that night. Of ALL the people I needed to see at that lowest point in my life, it was the woman who solidified my faith! Sister Lise will be Greatly missed, but will always hold such a special place in my heart ❤️. She is now our "Angel of the Morning" (her favourite karaoke song)
