Rest in Peace Uncle Steve.
I have fond memories of you teaching us kids at the cottage to yell "MOM" iln a ridiculous voice. It definatly annoyed our parents and it was so hilarious I wont forget how you yelled it at the campfire and had us keeled over laughing trying to imitate you.
When I was sick, you had me over to show off your collection of antique oil lamps amonst other beautiful peices. It was very thoughtful of you to reach out and spend some time with me while I was not my best. Shows what a loving and caring individual you were and will always be remembered as.

Pops..thank you for all the support over the last 29 years….when I look through all my photos of all the milestones, you were always there! I will miss our family dinners and watching football together, our discussions about sports and politics - how will I know what is going on in the world now! , I appreciate the way you helped take care of Sam, Sawyer and Charlie whenever we asked…you will be deeply missed but never forgotten…

Papa has always been such a large part of my life. I remember when we would have sleepovers at grandma and papas and how he would always play games with us. My favourite game is when we would hide and he would come stomping into the room and find us going “fee-fi-fo- -fum”. This always ended with us laughing. Around Christmas time he would always grow out his beard to make him look more like Santa and he would always wear a Santa hat, which made me so excited to go over to the house for Christmas. I remember playing in the back of your truck and the walks to the candy store. Thank you papa for the great memories! Love you tons❤️

Thank you Pops for all the amazing memories and the love you always shown me. I will always remember the grandchildren always going over to Grandma and Papa’s for a sleepover and us running away and hiding to hear your loud footsteps coming down the hallway saying “Fee-fi-fo-fum” and trying to scare us. And late at night when I didn’t want to go to sleep (but you did), you would always play “Lover’s Lullabye” by Janis Ian, and somehow that put me to sleep instantly. As I got older, we were always talking about Detroit sports, a conversation I always looked forward to having whenever we saw eachother. Or at the cottage, walking around with your pepperoni stick and sun hat making everybody laugh. Thank you for all the amazing memories I will cherish forever. I love you Pops ❤️
