I loved Nigel Since the day I met him. We lived together downtown at Victoria Park Place during his final months. I'm glad I was able spend his last Years of life with him. Taking care of Nigel was literally my purpose on life. I loved every moment we shared together, good or bad We used to listen to Sickick for hours, days even & never left that apartment unless we absolutely had too. That apartment was Nigels and mine too.. our safe place. We spent every moment of everyday together doing everything together I held Nigels hand the whole time ..including when he took his last breath. My final moment & memory was when Margaret, Subhas, Adele & Chantele left.. I crawled up in his bed with him & held him for hours. I was the last one to hold his warm body and sing to him and cry. I love you Nigel so much. I wished we could have been together forever. I loved his Smile, his Smirks & his Attitude. I was addicted to him. I will never forget his kindness, his softness & his warmth. I love you Nigiie Bear

It is with great sadness that I heard of Nigel‘s passing. I remember Nigel as a fun, loving and caring person with an easy smile and always quick to laugh. Although it’s been many years since I’ve last spoken to Nigel, my understanding is that he’s had a deep impact on the community he served as a police officer. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. My deepest condolences for your loss. Tim Pryor Jr.

Nigel was my first boss in Windsor at Woody's outhouse. He always made the night fun and shared a story or smile. He will be missed and always loved.

My condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of having some amazing conversations with Nigel and am truly saddened by the loss. My prayers and thought go out to his wonderful parents who molded Nigel into the great man that he was. He will be truly missed.

Aux parents, à la famille et à Chantelle Ramcharan La triste nouvelle que ma fille Joelle a partagé avec moi se rapportant au décès de votre fils et frère Nigel a troublé mon esprit et a créé en moi une situation d'émotion et de choc douloureux. Que Dieu accueille son esprit dans son Paradis, qu'Il console tous les membres de sa famille et leur accorde la patience et la force de pouvoir supporter cette perte irréparable. My condolences go out to Nigel's family and friends at this time. While I hadn't really talked to him since we were in grade school, I have many fond memories of being friends with Nigel from those days. When I was in the Tecumseh Cornfest lip sync competition he was part of my "band," backing me the whole way.... and we came in third place! The descriptions of Nigel's outgoing personality allowing him to connect with others is what I remember most about him. He often looked out for me back then and I'm sincerely saddened to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Known Nigel from a young age and appreciated his love for law enforcement service which I got to see firsthand as Chaplain. each time we connected he spoke with much fondness about his family. Will be a privilege to honor him on Thursday!!

I worked on Nigel's shift a few years ago and I always enjoyed talking to him and saw first hand that he treated people fairly and with courtesy and respect. I never saw him in a bad mood and without a smile on his face. It was a honour to know him, work along side him and to have him as a friend. Deepest sympathies, PC Vivier
