Obituary of Doreen Rheda Ouellette

March 20, 1934 - July 25, 2024

With great sadness we announce Doreen's passing on July 25, 2024 at the age of 90. Beloved wife to Ken (2006). Loving mother to Debby (Dave) Holek, Joni (Werner Keller) & Patrick. Devoted companion to Noel Mayea. Dear "Meme" to Dayne (Dana), Seana (Teddy), and Great "Meme" to Kyle, Rhett, Avery, Remy. Dear "Mim" to Elise (Johnny), Justine, Erica and Great "Mim" to Claire, Jane, Copeland, Malcolm, Heston, Bayer & Manning. Dear daughter of the late Laurentia & Ludger Demers. Dear sister of the late Jeanne Breault (late Sam), Roland Demers (late Annie), late Marcel Demers (late Shirley), late Dr. Percy Demers (late Patricia), Bernice Donaldson (late Jack). Dear sister-in-law to the late Laurie Mackley and the late Bill Ouellette. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

Doreen was a long-time volunteer with many organizations such as the Iris House Windsor, the Tecumseh Cornfest and served on Tecumseh Town Council for many years earning her the nickname: "Queen of Tecumseh”. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Location, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., Windsor (519-253-7235) on Sunday, July 28, 2024 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.  The visitation will continue on Monday, July 29^th, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Chapel Service at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. If you so desire, a donation to the Transition To Betterness would be appreciated.
