Heartfelt condolences to all of Mary Lou’s beloved family. Your obituary tells a story of a life well lived, surrounded by love. How awesome. My happy memories go back to our school days at St Mary’s Academy - so much fun and laughter. And wherever the fun was happening, that’s where you’d find Mary Lou. Dear Mary Chris, Timmy, Terry & Danny, One of the hardest things in life is the loss of a parent. My heart goes out to you all at this sad time. Your Mom was one of the sweetest, kindest & funniest people I have ever known. No matter what life threw at her, she stayed positive & always took care of everybody else. She was a true warrior & I considered her one of my closest confidants & a cherished friend. Our family friendship goes back over 50 years & oh the memories! The hockey days were some of the best. Our friendship goes back to St. Catherine’s days when we lived together at the Y. Mary Lou always made a gathering a fun time. We last saw she and Ted about 20 years ago when we went out to dinner together, a great evening of laughs and reminiscing. We visited often by phone until I lost track of her about 2 years ago. There are no words to convey the unconditional love and open arms that Mrs. Hoss showed towards me my entire life. Always an open door at their home and the feeling that I was one of hers. Our children feel so fortunate as well, to have had so many laughs with Mary-Lou when she visited their homes with Tim. We will so miss her smiling face and quick wit. My sincerest sympathy goes out to the family during this very sad time! Marylou was one of not the best neighbours in Pilots Cove and we became the best of friends for many years to come!! We had sooo much fun going shopping and out to lunch and visiting each other! My heart breaks as I was still waiting for a good day for her to call me so we could talk and laugh at our good ole days!
