Lots of love to all of you! I'll always remember how kind and welcoming Julio and Teresa were to me when i visited Windsor and stayed with you! Julio was a real ray of sunshine, and I am so glad I got to meet him. A really generous soul. Was great to read a bit more about his life in this obituary too. I will make a special stop at the Tim Horton's in my now home city of Glasgow, Scotland, for an international double double in his honour! Much love to all of you.

Querida tía Teresa y primos, reciban nuestro amor y respeto en este difícil momento; nuestros pensamientos están siempre con ustedes. Pensé que nunca más volveríamos a vernos y Dios permitió reencontrarnos hace 4 años y compartir hermosos momentos que hoy atesoro en mi corazón. Gracias por esas largas videollamadas, por esas risas y chistes compartidos con Luis, gracias por esas palabras cariñosas dirigidas hacia mi persona como si fuera una hija más. Uncle Julio, thank you for all those extensive phone conversations we had, for the moments of joy, for the times you held us and supported us every moment when my mother was hospitalized and until she went to rest in heaven, for every memory of her that we shared and for every wise conversation about various areas of life that we had, rest in peace and have the peace of mind that you were an excellent father, husband, father-in-law and uncle, we will miss you very much. Con Don Julio como le llamaba ,fuimos compañeros de trabajo en la U de W y en el Windsor Casino , siempre muy responsable en el desempeño de su trabajo , al final del turno charlábamos en Español un rato frente al marcador de salida y no era de mucho agrado para algunos, pero el muy orgulloso de hablar nuestro lenguaje . Le gustaba contar chistes y cuando se reía su sonrisa era muy contagiosa . QDEP Don Julio .

Words cannot express the sadness I feel. I will miss him. Every time I needed help with my math he would not hesitate to help me. We would share riddles and he would be the first one to know the answer correctly. I am a witness to how good his banana bread was. I know it will be a hard adjustment for my sister Teresa, to live without him, however I know that knowing how very much he loved her will comfort her. I will miss you Julio. May you rest in peace.
