Obituary of Linda Frances Labute (nee Ryan)

Passed away peacefully at the age of 74, on May 4, 2024. Beloved wife of 49 wonderful years to Bryan. Loving sister of Iris Evans (Dave) of England, and sister-in-law of Sharon Hayes (Robert) of St. Thomas, Sandra Gagnon (Nelson), Mike (Janet), Jeff, and Kim St. John (Luc) all of Essex County. She will be missed by her furry companion, Harry the cat. Linda is survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in England, Ireland and Canada.

Linda was born in London, England to James and Anne Ryan. She became a Registered Community Nurse in England. She was an Administrator and Director of Care at Heron Terrace prior to her retirement. She touched many lives over the years as a dedicated practitioner and volunteer. She was a Reiki Practitioner, a volunteer for Hospice of Windsor and fostered a number of cats through the Windsor Humane Society.

At Linda’s request, cremation has been carried out. A Memorial Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME - BANWELL CHAPEL, located at 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235), on Monday, May 13, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The Celebration of Life will take place at 7:30 pm in the Chapel.
