I worked with Linda many years ago in London and she was the nicest, kindest person you could ever wish to meet. Unfortunately we lost touch when she left the Company we worked for and I knew she had gone into nursing, now that was the right vocation for her because of her caring manner, any patient would have been truly blessed to have Linda around. So I stumbled across this sad notice purely by accident as I was only thinking of Linda just the other day and I just Googled her name and here it is about her passing, very sad. Condolences to Bryan, family and friends. From reading the memories here she will be sorely missed.

Deepest sympathy to Bryan and family. Just learned of the passing of Linda. Will always remember her kindness and attentive care as a hospice volunteer towards my mother as she came to the end of her earthly journey this past February. May the family be comforted by the kindness she showed to others, and may she rest in peace.

On May 4th I lost one of my best friends, Linda. She died today and I will miss her so much. She can never be replaced n my life and will never be forgotten. Linda didn’t like tears but they still come at unexpected times. I know Linda would want me to live each moment fully. The tears will come less and less as the wonderful memories we shared are remembered. Her good friend Yvonne said it best when she said “Linda walked softly upon the earth.” No more coffee dates my friend but my prayer is that you Rest In Peace until we meet again. ❤️

We’ve been fortunate to be neighbours of Bryan and Linda for 6 years. They are both very kind and caring individuals. They cared dearly for one another. We had many conversations with Linda over the years, she always showed a genuine interest in our lives. Linda was extremely knowledgeable and well spoken. She was always my favorite auntie and always treated us like we were blood relatives. She was an extra Grandma to my kids and our life has a little hole in it now. I will miss her unconditional love and wisdom and kindness.

On this terribly sad occasion, I want to extend our sincerest condolences to Bryan, family and friends. Linda’s legacy is one of sincerity, good sense, a keen intellect and good humour - a true lady. She will be remembered for her amazing dignity and a compassion that touched everyone she came in contact with both personally and professionally. I will always appreciate Linda’s infectious sense of fun and her enthusiasm for life. I feel privileged to have been able to have shared time with her especially in the last year or so. This is hard Just waking up and seeing this this morning truly breaks my heart. This amazing lady Right here was a big part of my PSW career my very first DOC in long-term care. She had brought me into the wonderfull world of PSW. She had hired me at Heron Terrace. August 2005 Where I worked and continued to learn and grow for 12 years. When she retired, she had left with saying a few words in my ear. The words she said were "you are going to make one amazing psw" She assured me I would go far in my field! And here I am 18 years later. Linda Labute rest in peace my beautiful lady You will always have a special place in my heart. Till we meet again
