It’s been 1 month since the last time that I saw you Sir Art and yet I can still see you clearly in my mind, smiling and telling the words “it’s still better that we’re good even if it’s not the best.” A word that makes me thankful for what i have and ,go on happily. And Sir Art wanted to say that I am now drinking ginger ale,enjoying it at the park where in I find and saw those purplish-bluish flowers as your clue for you to remember my name. I am just wondering why I am like that flower?because they are kind if tiny colourful flowers in the middle of the weeds! wherever you are please guide and watch me too like what’s God doing now. I miss you so much, and thank you for everything you’ve done for me,you’re such a sweet,kind,thoughtful and understanding father figure to me. Although I am your cg but you treated me like a member of your family. I won’t forget your advices Sir Art.Thank you so much. May you be in Gods hands and care, I prayed.Amen.

Sending prayers to the family and friends. Art will be truly missed by all who knew him. I met him through working with him at Walker's back in 2007, always looked forward to sit and talk and he always had a great story and knowledge to share. You will be missed.

I had the pleasure of meeting Art at one of our Laurel and Hardy luncheons at the Victoria Tavern. I was absolutely captivated by his knowledge of Hiram Walkers and had hoped to meet him again so we could continue our conversation. My sincerest condolences to his family; he was a brilliant man who had so much to offer. He will be missed and may he rest in peace.

My best working buddy, Art Jahns. I met him during my first week at Canadian Club whisky and I was lucky enough to work with him until the end. Rest in Peace Art, I’ll always remember the fun!!

I so enjoyed my time with Art, talking about Hiram Walker, Willistead Manor and all things Walkerville. He was a wealth of knowledge that will be missed in our community.

Art often encouraged me to keep writing my poetry. He told me he read them and often felt uplifted by them or got a chuckle from some. He welcome me to keep sending them. It was wonderful when he & Norma visited us if we were in Iron Bridge camp or Blind River home. It was a privilege to know Art for the last 40+ years.
