Obituary of Carmela Mazzotta

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our mother Carmela Mazzotta, surrounded by her loving family on February 16,2024 at 81 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Pasquale. Loving mother to Domenic and Sergio. Predeceased by her parents Ottavio and Giuseppina Mannarino and by her siblings Saverio, Mario, Teresa, Francesco, Luigi, Vincenzo and Antonio. Sister in law to Michele Naccarato (late Maria), Maria Mazzotta (late Vittorio) and Ida Mannarino (late Antonio).

Our mother was loved by all. She loved people and shared her love through baking, cooking, sewing and gardening for her family and friends. Her caring and generosity knew no bounds. She made everything better and made our world a better place. She enjoyed life and lived every day to the fullest. She walked many times a day, praying to all the Madonna statues and singing her Italian songs along the way.

We would like the thank all the doctors and nurses at WRH, especially ICU staff. We would also like to thank Leila and her family for all their love and support.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral (Central Chapel), 1700 Tecumseh Road E,. (519-253-7234) on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers at 7pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from the Funeral home at 10:15 am, then to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church ( 804 Grand Marais Rd . E) for Funeral Mass at 11am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
