To Dan & family, Very sorry to hear of Art's passing. He lived a great life and was a great neighbour. Miss sharing stories (and tomatoes) across the back fence! Our kids benefitted from his wood working skills and he often surprised them with bug cages and butterfly nets. We will never forget when he rode his bicycle out to LaSalle Turtle Club to watch the kids play baseball and insisted on riding all the way back. We also enjoyed watching him enjoy the food that we shared with him. He is at peace now, but we will miss him. Enjoy his memory, Mike, Donna & kids

Dan, Rose, Cathy and kids: So sorry for your loss, but what a wonderful lifespan Uncle Art had. And I don't think I knew his full name or how many exciting adventures they took. Uncle Art and Aunt Jean lived close to us and were the relatives I knew from my very young childhood. He was a kind and generous man who made you feel welcome always. And the parties, well they were epic and he was hilarious! Aunt Jean was a hoot who taught me tonnes! Knitting, needlepoint and swimming! He will be missed and thought of often. They were such a great part of my youth! This pic is from my 30th luau backyard birthday party 9/96. (Mary, Al and Uncle Art). <3
