It is with broken hearts that the family of Lydia Mykitczyn-Baker announce her passing on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at the age of 68. Loving wife of Steven Baker. Cherished step-mother of Shelley Amato (Tony), Jason Baker (Lana) and Lindsay Hanson (Josh). Treasured grandmother to her five grandchildren. Dear best friend of Sabina Tunea and the late Carol Briese. Lydia was a devoted teacher with the Greater Essex Country District School Board for 42 years where she touched many lives. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her. A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 2pm at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery (1100 Division Rd., Windsor). In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Windsor/Essex Humane Society.
