Obituary of Sante Acchione

Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Saturday, September 30^th, 2023 at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband to the love of his life Linda Acchione (Nee: Peters) for 56 years. Loving Father to Tony, Danny, Sandino Acchione. Adored Grandfather to Alyssa, Alanna, Anthony, Jackson, Dillon, and Savanna. Brother to Vincenza (Luigi), Al (Lydia), and Domenic (Joy). Sadly missed by brother in law Ken (Cindy), and sister in law Jackie (late Ron). Predeceased by parents Cesidio and Antonia Acchione. Sante was a dedicated employee of General Motors for 30 years, as well as an employee for Chrysler for 12 years. He was a long time member of Kingsville Golf and Country Club, an avid fisherman and loved his ATV rides. He will be deeply missed by family and friends. In Sante’s memory donations may be made to Hospice of Windsor Essex or The Windsor Regional Cancer Centre.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel -Banwell Chapel 11677 Tecumseh Rd E. (519-253-7235) on Thursday, October 5^th, 2023 from 2-5pm & 7-9pm. Parish prayers 4:30pm. Funeral visitation will continue for Sante on Friday, October 6^th, 2023 at 10am until time of service at 11am.
