Dear Linda, Tony, Dan , Sandino and family, I am so sorry for your great loss of Sandy, who was the most gentle and kind man. I am grateful to have known him and have so many fond memories of our times together, when our families were so young, many years ago. May all of you continue to find comfort in your cherished memories of your dear Father, Grandfather and Husband. Always grateful for an end to such long suffering and the knowledge that he lives on in your hearts and has gone to his peaceful rest, as reward for a life, so well lived. He is only “changed, not gone.” These words of a kind priest, at my father’s passing, have helped me - so sharing here, with each of you, now. Coupled with the scientific fact that we *are* Energy and Energy never dissipates but only changes - confirms our loved ones remain with us …. only changed ~ not gone. It is with great sadness to hear the passing of Sandy. He was honorable, respectful, and professional in everything he took to task. I had the pleasure of working with Sandy for many years. I don't think I met a better person than this guy. His great work ethic, the way he was so good to his friends. I used to love talking about lawns and yardwork with Sandy. He was an expert. Thanks to his son for bringing him to our last gathering at Wazzys. He sure showed us what a strong man he was that day. Will be truly missed but never forgotten.

Dear Mrs. Acchione, Tony, Dan, Sandino and to grandchildren and family. My heart goes out to you all through this most difficult time. I remember Mr. Acchione would build us ice rinks in the winter and assist our road hockey adventures in the summer. It was always fun at your home growing up. I have always treasured those memories and always will. May he rest in heavenly peace.

One of the sweetest men I’ve had the pleasure of knowing most of my life. The hugs he greeted people with proved how much he loved them. His soft voice and warm smile will be missed terribly by so many. When he spoke with you, you had his full attention. I’ll see you when I see you, Sante.
