Frank was an amazing Co-worker and friend. Whenever he showed up at your school you knew you were in good hands but it was his kind greetings, dad jokes and wise words I'll remember most about him. Frank was a very resourceful skilled tradesperson and any issue that seemed impossible with older equipment, infrastructure in the schools, Frank would have an idea and no worries on his face how to get the job done. He was a confident man and I am so sorry to hear of his passing in his twilight years where he could enjoy being a nonno. Rest in peace my friend

Dear Sandy, Giancarlo and Brigida. Your Husband/Father was a very gentle soul. He was a soft speaker and a man of his word. He held his family on the highest level of love and respect. He knew no other way. You could always see the admiration that he carried in his eyes and his heart. His wife, his daughter, his boys. So very PROUD. We are so very saddened at the worlds’ physical loss of Frank. He was a great, kind and loving family man and I will always remember how every time I saw him come in to one of our schools in the GECDSB system to help fix a problem, I knew that all of us, staff and hundreds of students, were in the very best of care with Frank and his knowledge, skills and compassion. His support and talks after our son passed away will always be appreciated and cherished. We are so sorry for your loss and we carry you and your family in our hearts and prayers forever Sandy. I was saddened to find out Tuesday morning that my friend Franco Bonofiglio had passed away!! Even though I hadn't known him for a long time, the time we spent together at work was priceless, and he shared wisdom to me before I retired that I will never forget and have tried to live by!!! Compare frank will be missed by all that knew him, especially me. He was a great guy, great listener, very supportive, and a common sence guy. Of the 60 years together, he became my compare, cugino, avid supporter in anything I attempted to do. A mentor and even a sports fan. Hundreds of memories together, conversations and discussions. Never to be forgotten. He loved everyone that showed love to him. One of the funny memories was when he made the grade 7 tumbling team at St. Angela. On parents night, he demonstrated his front and back flips......went over well....he thought he was headed to the Olympics after that....laughs and a lot of confidence for him just coming from italy. We always had each others back......Rest in Peace Compa.....Heaven just got another great guy.....
