Luciano had a special place in his heart for the Fogolar Club. As a past president or as an in-house "Mr. Fixit" Luciano supported and served the Club tirelessly and unselfishly. When I first started working at the Fogolar, Luciano welcomed me by saying ‘Now you’re home’. And indeed, it was just like being Home with the Members & Staff who are friends and family. Luciano reminded me so much of my Dad, and I thought of him as a Zio. He gave me advice all the time, even when I didn’t need it. One day, I looked up from my keyboard and there he was, standing at my desk in these Cool Black Sunglasses grinning from ear to ear. I told him he looked like a Hollywood Movie star and that’s what I called him ever since. Whenever you needed to find him all you had to do was look up, and there he was on a ladder or a scaffold. As these days unfold, I will continue to ‘look up’ to Luciano who is now on the scaffolds of Heaven. You will always live in our hearts. Paola & Amelia Pavan.

To Maria, Paula, Paul and respective families, I am sad to her of Luciano's passing. He was truly one of a kind. A dedicated family man, hardworking man and a dedicated friend if you knew him. Always willing to help you or loan a tool and bring it to you. He truly was a nice man and always saying hi to me with a smile as far as i can remember and because of that, i enjoyed working at the club because of him. You could learn so much from him.
