Our sincere condolences to Mickey Donna and family. The Peebles family have been so blessed to have had Aunt Vickie and Unlce Phil in our lives. Many good times were had by all when the Jacob, Peebles, Micelli families got together. Who was funnier Uncle Phil or Uncle Al? They were always making us laugh. We even had the opportunity to go on vacations together (chipmonks in the toilet). What a beautiful snap shot of all the things Aunt Vickie was known for, beautifully written. Sincere condolences to Mickey, Donna and all the family for your loss. Vicky was such a lovely lady, kind and quiet in manner but steadfast in her beliefs and love for her family, She was the perfect wife for Phil, laughing at his jokes no matter how often she heard them and quietly supporting him in everything he took on. Vicky and I played golf together for many years and my funniest memory is of us teeing off at Lakewood right into a flock of geese in the fairway. My ball landed and scared a few, but Vickie managed to hit one right in the back of the head, killing it instantly. She was so upset and the whole flock was squawking and surrounding the dead goose so we quietly detoured back to the pro shop to report it, then went to the clubhouse for a pitcher of something to calm her nerves while the grounds crew cleared away the evidence. Rest in peace old friend and say hi to Phil.
