Obituary of Marie Craig

(nee Raffoul) February 9, 1961 – December 24, 2019 It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Marie, at the age of 58 years, surrounded by her loving family. Treasured wife of Doug. A perfect mom to her daughters, Brianna (Carter Beggs) and Meghan (C.J. Matthews). Beloved daughter of Jawad and the late Laila. Marie had a special, loving connection with her sisters, Denise (Michel) Sassine and Sue and brother, Sarkis (Mary). Dear sister-in-law to Carol, Judy (Ian), Bev (Tom), Ron, Barry (Shannon) and Sandy (Dan). She will be sadly missed by all her nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Marie shared a special bond with her Uncle Tony and Aunt Renee Sassine. Marie was the answer to her husband’s prayer and the light in her daughters’ eyes. We will all miss her radiant smile. Friends and family are invited to the Funeral Mass which will be held at Immaculate Heart Parish (2153 Parkwood, Windsor) on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 10am. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Windsor-Essex.
