Obituary of Roger Irvin Curtis

CURTIS, Roger Irvin Born on July 28, 1943 in Windsor , Ontario and peacefully passed in his sleep at his home on June 30, 2008 in his 65th year. Reunited with his beloved wife Donna Jean (nee Laporte ) ( 2001). Loving pops of Kim, Bruce, and Mike Curtis all of Windsor. Cherished grandpop of Meghan, Taylor, Jeremy, Jamie-Lynne, Kyle , Chloe and great grandpop to Savannah. Beloved brother of Mildred Curtis, Myra and Ken Bennett, Evelyn and Don Adams, Bruce and Jackie Curtis and Charles and Susan Curtis, Murray and Teresa Curtis. Dear brother in law of Melinda Donna Mae McDermott of Chatham. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Roger retired from G.M. Transmission after many dedicated years of service, a long time member of the Windsor Sportsman Club, The Deep Bay Hunt Club and in his spare time he enjoyed spending time with family, friends and golfing. Visitation at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home 1700 Tecumseh Road East on ( 519-253-7234 ) on Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM and Thursday from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Friday July 4th, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the chapel. Cremation to follow. An interment will take place at Churchyard of St.Stephen's Church, Sandwich S.Twp on Monday July 7th, 2008. In kindness memorial may be made to the Diabetes Association of Ontario or to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre.
