FACCA, Sharon (nee Harris)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Facca. Sharon passed away peacefully surrounded by the love and presence of her family on Saturday May 27th, 2023 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of Gino Facca for 56 years and daughter in law of Maria Facca (pre-deceased by Bernardo). Loving mother to Gina (Norm Bisson) and Julie Vallier (Greg). Cherished grandmother to Morgan, Adam, Natalie and Eric. Sister to Gayle Watson (predeceased by Wayne), and sister-in-law to Robert Facca (Wendy). Sharon was pre-deceased by her parents Irene and Al Russell and her brother Arnold Harris. She will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews extended family and friends. She will especially be missed by her gal pack (Carol, Colleen, Cathy, Mary and Noreen) - her adored friends for more than 50 years.

Sharon will be remembered for her amazing strength and courage and her never ending positivity. Her sense of humour and ability to talk to anyone made her a beacon for strangers everywhere she went. She was an exceptional Wife, Mom, Grandma and friend to those she held dearest.

A special thanks to the entire Hospice team for their care over the last year. Her community nurse Datza was an angel sent from above.

Visitation to take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL - Banwell Chapel - 11677 Tecumseh Rd E, 519.253.7235 on Wednesday May 31st, 2023 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Prayers at 4:30pm. Funeral service to take place the following day, Thursday June 1st at 10am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery (5005 Howard Ave).
