Obituary of John Lafond

Sunrise May 7, 1949 - Sunset May 7, 2023

Born on May 7, 1949, and “did it his way” by passing on his 74th birthday. John is reunited with his cherished parents John (Jack) Sr. and Jeanne (Agnew) Lafond, loving grandmother Jeanne and beloved dog Kiko. Dear nephew to Carole, the late Vickie and late Ed, and predeceased by 7 aunts and uncles. He will be missed by his cousins Sharmine and Roberta as well as 30 plus cousins and relatives. John was a member of Community Living Windsor, Alexandra/Lloyd George for over 25 years. He was a talented pianist, who enjoyed providing music everywhere he went. Thank you to the entire staff at Community Living for becoming his second family, and providing him with love, care and compassion.

Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME - BANWELL CHAPEL, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235) on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, from 3:00pm. - 5:00pm and 7:00pm - 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 10:00 am in the Chapel. Cremation to follow.
