Obituary of Gerrard "Gerry" Godin

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gerry Godin on April 30, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Gerry was a loving father to 3 children, and a cherished grandfather of 6 grandchildren. He is survived by his older brother John, and is reunited with his older brother Roger. He was part of the brotherhood of Freemasons and Shriners, where he made many friends and memories. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, bowling, playing pool, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends. Gerry retired young and spent that time travelling the world via cruises. Gerry will not only be remembered for his sense of humor and story telling, but he’ll also be remembered as a gentleman.

Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Avenue on Friday, May 5, 2023 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A funeral service will take place on Saturday May 6, 2023 at 11:00 am in the chapel. Per Gerry’s wishes cremation will take place following the service.
