Grandma, I think about you all the time. I cry a lot for you because I miss you the most. I remember when we made pies, and cookies. And you let me eat off the spoon. You taught me how to recognize my numbers and my letters. Which is good because I am in Junior Kindergarden now! You should see how smart I am. I'm pretty sure you'd think that I was the smartest girl in the whole class. I'm growing up so fast and it's really hard not having you here. I keep your picture close to me at all times. I kiss it a lot. Sometimes I still don't understand why you had to leave us all. And I just cry. Two days ago, I found the most beautiful blue and purple butterfly that will hang in my room to remember you by. Every time I see a butterfly, I tell Mommy that it's you coming to visit me. And I love when you visit me. I love you Grandma, you are my Best Friend for always. I miss you every minute that I am awake. I wish you were here. Love, McKennah xoxo

Already just over 2 months....still struggling Bet...life certainly isnt the same for me anymore....you were my rock and since you;ve been gone..seems I lost my rock and cant find it. people tell me to not swell on your loss so much..but until theyve had the bond that you and i have had no one will understand. Already 1 month...still cant imagine life without you. No more heywhats up or wanna play bingo or picnics at Rondeau...my heart has been shattered in 2 since you've been taken. never ever in a zillion years did I expect it to be so soon..we still had lots to do together. really cant put into words right now how this lump in the throat wont go away or the rock in the stomach makesit hard to breath anymore....I know you are now pain free and at peace but doesnt make it any easier . Mom, you will be missed by many. Especially McKennah, because you two shared an unbreakable bond from the day she met you. She doesn't fully understand. And it hurts my heart that I can't take her pain away. But there were many fond memories to reminisce about as she grows up that she will know how great a woman you are.
