Obituary of Jean-Paul J.P. Rivard

RIVARD, Jean-Paul “JP”

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 82 years of age. Beloved husband for over 50 years to soulmate Jean. Cherished Father to Rachel Rivard (Tim Dorey). JP will be missed by his siblings, Giles (Rosemary), the late Gerald (Judy), Annette (Donal) McCollum, Tom (Janice), and Cheryl (Michael) McLean. He is survived by many friends and extended family members. JP was an active member of the Knights of Columbus Council #1453. He ran his own Tiling business installing farm drainage throughout Tilbury and Essex county and dedicated many years of service to Quality Control at Titan Tool and Die. JP loved life and enjoyed golfing, bowling, and cheering on the Red Wings. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 25, 2023 at Windsor Chapel - Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E) from 2pm - 4pm and 7pm-9pm. K of C prayers at 7pm. Family and friends will be received for visitation at St. Anne’s Parish ( 12233 Tecumseh Rd. E.) on Wednesday April 26, 2023 at 10am until time of funeral mass at 11:00am, cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Canadian Lung Association or the Charity of your choice.
