Obituary of Vera Dobrich

DOBRICH, Vera (nee Parojcic)

January 31, 1948 - April 22, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vera at the age of 75. Beloved wife of the late Mirko (2022). Proud mother to Tomislav (Mimi) of Windsor and Momcilo (Martina) of Serbia. Dear Grandmother to Nikolina, Marko, Milan and Sanja. Vera is predeceased by her parents Ilija and Nada Parojcic, and sister Nancy Kosich (2023). Survived by her younger sister Mirjana Milosevic (Milan) of Hamilton. Vera leaves behind many nieces, nephews, Kumovi and friends in Canada, USA, England and Serbia. Vera was a dedicated member of the Gracanica Church Choir since moving to Windsor and her beautiful soprano voice will be greatly missed. Heartfelt gratitude to Father Vladimir Vranic for his spiritual guidance and support, Dr. Kanjekaal, Dr. Burgess, Dr. Koutras, Windsor Regional Cancer Center, the nurses of Paramed/VON, and the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County staff for the wonderful care she received.

Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Monday, April 24, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. with Pomen at 7 p.m. Friends and family are requested to meet for Funeral Service at Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Church, 1960 Meldrum Rd, Windsor, ON, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Burial to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens, 1100 Division Rd., Windsor, ON.
