Sending my sincerest condolences to Aunt Bev, Christopher and family and Terry Lynn and family. Uncle Ed was a big part of my life. I respected the man for all of his great accomplishments in life. He was my mother's brother but he was also my great friend. I will always remember our family get togethers and the joy he brought to our family whenever he was around. After his sister (my mother) passed he was always there for me, helping me with my taxes. He came over to visit often. We would go out to Tim Hortons and talk over coffee and I was always invited over for Holiday dinners with aunt Bev, Uncle Eddie and their son Chris. I will miss you dearly my Uncle and friend! Please say hi to Mom and Dad.
Thank you so much for always being there for me. Until we meet again your loving nephew, David Hamelin.

I am sending my sincere condolences to great aunt Bev, Chris and family/ Terry Lynn and family. I love great uncle Eddie. I respected the man that he was. He always carried himself with great pride and dignity. I've always had great memories of him and the way he treated his family and friends with respect and kindness. I'll always remember his wonderful smile. Whenever you were around uncle Eddie I felt a sense security and happiness. He was a big man with a big heart and in his final days I was able to speak with him and I asked him about his days working at FABCO. I asked him if he had the chance to do anything over again in his life would he? He replied "I wouldn't change a thing!" He love his family and everything he stood for. I told him that I loved him and in the most gentle voice he said "I love you too Ricky." I will never forget those words coming from such a gentle giant. I could see that he was at some kind of peace during his final days maybe knowing that he would pass only a few meters away from where my grandma Hamelin (his sister) had passed not long before. I know now Eddie is with his Father, Mother and sister and all of our big family up in heaven. Watch over us uncle Eddie, we'll all be together again someday. Congratulations on a life well lived! With much love, great nephew Ricky and family. Later, uncle Ed <3

Dear Beverly and Family,
Please accept my sincere sympathy on the passing of your husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Ed and I go back to childhood when our parents would visit and Ed and I would play. We were members of the Slovak community and our lives were, for the most part, centered around Sts. Cyril & Methodius Slovak Church. Years went by and things changed but whenever Ed and I saw each other, (many times at the Slovak Carousels) last time at Tim Horton’s on Manning, we would talk of pleasant memories of our families.
Ed will be missed by you and his friends but his memory will be everlasting.
I grieve with you and pray God will heal your broken hearts.
Your friend,
Mary Boldizar Jacko
Southfield/Windsor

I will hold very fond memories of Ed always. He was kind, funny, generous and gentle. You couldn't know him and not love him - a truly good man. He will be dearly missed.
