Hello Family. I am one of Ron's first cousins from Thunder Bay, Ontario. I just learned about Ron's passing and wanted to say how very sorry we are to hear this sad news. For years we thought about getting together with all of you as we did many years ago when we all got together in Florida with Betty and Ron, Pat and Gus, Rosemarie, Bobby, Uncle Johnny and Nancy and even my brother Fred flew down from Nova Scotia to join us. It was kind of spur of the moment and perfect timing that we were all able to have such a grand reunion. Sadly time passes and so the opportunities come and go. Betty we wish you and the family all the best and send you our love and to tell you how much we enjoyed our brief time together. Please take care. Lorraine and Henry Mandziuk

My friends and I spent many an hour in Ron's shop back in the '70's, comparing and debating the relative merits of all kinds of audio equipment ... he was always patient and instructive and I think back to those times fondly. Sincere condolences to the entire family. Dennis Venerus

To the Assef family I remember Mr. Assef from when he owned Assef TV. I was a kid who worked at the Crystal Dairy Bar a couple doors down from Assef TV. Mr. Assef came almost daily for a burger and fries or a grilled cheese. He was so kind to me a young 14 year old and I never forgot him. I was so saddened to read about his death. R.I.P. To my 'big' sister, Betty, my deepest, deepest sympathy. Know that it does get easier: not more pleasant, but easier to bear. To his children and step-children, grands, and greats my prayers and condolences. Jack's favourite "camel jockey" and a cherished friend, who are now together again along with Joe. The three brothers-in-law are now livening up heaven. Our times in Windsor, Florida and Pine Lake are memories to keep me smiling. God bless your family!
