Obituary of Theodore Gervais
Theodore “Bud” Lawrence Gervais, 84 of Windsor, Ontario, passed away peacefully March 23, 2023.
Ted was a kind and loving husband to Elizabeth “Buffy” (nee Hatfield) for over 57 years, a caring father to Lisa (Doris) and Michael (Alicia), a Grandfather to Michele, Maxwell and Cooper, and brother to Paul (2021), Garnet (2021), William, Marty, Rosemary and Michelle.
He was a Pianist, Church Organist, Amateur Rocket Scientist, Amateur Photographer, Amateur Astronomer, Banker and RCMP officer for 30 years. He rode motorcycles, flew planes, enjoyed scuba diving and loved all things electronic.
The family would like to thank Dr. Kajeekal, Dr. Cervi, Dr. Aoun, Dr. Moodley, Dr. Yousef, and the staff of the Cancer Clinic, and The Hospice of Windsor for all of their dedicated care and compassion.
Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Chapel,11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7234) on Monday, March 27, 2023, from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm. Parish Prayers at 7:30 pm.
Funeral Mass will take place at Ste. Anne’s Church (12233 Tecumseh Rd. E., Tecumseh) on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations made possible to The Hospice of Windsor and the Canadian Cancer Society.
