Obituary of Abagale "Abby" Ella Salamunec

Heaven gained an Angel on March 12th, 2023 surrounded by the love of her family at the tender age of 11. Beloved daughter to Goran Salamunec and Amanda Casey. Loved by her brother River Casey-Normandeau. Cherished granddaughter to Kathleen and Arnie Charlton, Marija and Josip Salamunec, and the late Allen Casey. Loving niece to Jenna (Neil) Jobin, Dave Casey (fiance Darcy Fox), Blake Casey, Alexandra (Justin) Charlton, Vesna (Dr.Ross) Summers. Adored cousin of Hannah, Nora and Lila Jobin, Russel Zanutto, Alex (Margarete), Nikolas and Larson Summers. Will forever be remembered by Franjo (Anka) Salamunec, Dr. Stefanie (Zvonimir) Horvatic, Natalie (Kyle) Brown, Vera (Bosko) Esapovic, Bozica, (Josip) and Clara Andrijevic. Will as well be missed by many extended family, friends and all of the supporters of Abby’s Army throughout her journey. 
Visitation to take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel), 11677 Tecumseh Rd E, 519.253.7234, on Thursday March 16th, 2023 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Visitation will continue on Friday March 17th from 10am until time of funeral service at 11:30am in the chapel.  Burial to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery (5005 Howard Ave). In memory and to honour Abby, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House as they supported Abby throughout her illness providing support, food and a home like atmosphere.
