Obituary of Yvonne Frappier

FRAPPIER, Yvonne (née Savard) April 29, 1921 – February 20, 2021 Passed away at WRH-Met Campus, on Saturday, February 20, 2021, in her 100th year. Cherished wife of the late Roland Frappier (1997). Mother of Carmen (Albert) Forcier and Gizèle Griffiths (Gordon Payne). Daughter of the late Auguste and Maria Savard (née DesLauriers). Sister of Gilberte (late Donat) Gaudette, late Rita Villemaire, late Gilbert Savard, late Eugène (late Emma) Savard, late Léo (surviving wife Peggy) Savard, late Aline (late Lionel) Bourque, Sue (Rhéa) & Don Carlson, Lilliane (late Jean) Jean and Ella (late Bill) Whitesell. She is survived by her grandchildren, Chantal, Lilliane, Dominic, Sarah, and Christine. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. Yvonne enjoyed knitting, needlepoint, crocheting, sewing, baking, playing cards at St. Jérôme and St. Thérèse Churches. Yvonne and Roland were both long time parishioners of St. Jérôme parish and were very dedicated to their faith. They enjoyed travelling to various destinations together. A special thank you to the staff at Amica Riverside and to the nurses and doctors at MET Hospital. “You are all Angels.” Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 2 p.m.-8 p.m. Chapel service on Friday, February 26, at 11 a.m. Reservations are required to attend the visitation and chapel service. A private interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery, where she will rest in peace alongside her husband Roland. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to a charity of your choice in honour of Yvonne.
