Obituary of Teresa Barbaro

Barbaro, Teresa God saw that you were tired on March 5th, 2023. Our hearts are broken as we announce the passing of our mom Teresa. Beloved wife of the late Luigi. Loving mom to Peter and Ana. Beloved sister to Carmela, the late Vincenzo, Antonio, Mario, Saverio, Francesco, Luigi. Will as well be missed by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Our mother was generosity itself, her kind heart, her love of her family and friends shined bright. Her many nurturing ways, through her cooking and baking the best bread this side of heaven. Her advice and so many little things that was everyday. We would like to thank Dr. Makinde, Rona and Nadine who cared for mom. We will always be grateful to him for introducing us to our angel nurse practitioner Angela Deneweth and her phenomenal team. To the PSW’s who cared for mom, and the people who made mom comfortable, so quickly. Thank you to all who allowed us to care for our mom the way she wanted (no hospital, no nursing home) to have her wishes honoured. Our deepest gratitude to our angels down the street Georgeta and Sue who were in minutes when we called in her last days. To Gloria for always being there- we love you so much. As per Teresa’s wishes no visitation or funeral will take place. We love you and always will. Thank you for loving us. Happy scratching the tickets up there mom you won the lottery already.
