Our most sincere condolences to Ken, Kelly, Steven and families. And to all her friends, there are so many, whose lives she has touched. Its a great loss for us all. Patti was so special, in every way. We have so many wonderful memories, especially down at the Marina in La Salle, our adventures in the RV, our trip to Florida, having a flat tire in Alligator Alley, etc etc!!! List goes on and on. I will cherish these memories forever, and I thank you Patti, so much, for all the laughs and shenanigans we shared! We will miss you dearly. Rest In Peace my Friend, till we meet again! We love you!!!!!

Ken, Stephen and Kelly - Rick and I send our love and sympathy to you and your family at this very saddest of times.
My earliest memories include Patti. Our mothers were best friends so we were born to be playmates. We shared many milestones and happy times - cottage weekends, holidays, sleepovers, birthdays, Brownies, Christmas shopping and hot fudge sundaes in Detroit, singing along to records. Love, laughter and joy followed Patti wherever she went. I am thankful to have been touched by it.

Devastated to learn the news of Patti and heartbroken for Kelly, Talin, Finn, and family.
I met Patti in Phoenix, AZ in March 2008 when she visited Kelly skating on Disney on Ice. My mom visited in the same city and Kelly and I were roommates. We went shopping, went for dinners, and our parents enjoyed the show together as proud moms! Kelly and I have remained close friends since this era of our lives. When Kelly lived with her parents at Maple Ave during university it was so great visiting and catching up with Patti... she was so welcoming and every visit felt like no time passed at all. Fast forward 15 years and it was amazing to see Patti as a wonderful grandma to Finn (in addition to her other grandkids who have grown so quickly!). Kelly is a vision of her mom and she will always live through her. Patti's love was radiant and everlasting and I will dearly miss her... she was a mom to all of us DOI skaters <3. Sending much love to everyone who knew her and strength during this very difficult time.

Dear Ken, Kelly, Stephen and to all of Patti's beloved grandchildren - my heart aches for your heartbreaking loss. More than fifty years ago, the Gagnon recreation room was the place to be. Patti patiently trying to teach all her klutzy classmates jazz dance moves, head choreographer and lead singer (with hairbrush microphones) for The Supremes 'Stop in the Name of Love (before you break my heart)'. She has totally broken a lot of hearts by leaving far too soon. But she also filled those same hearts to overflowing with her love, laughter and enduring friendship. Au revoir, my dear friend with much love, connie

Our love for the Boomer family, Ken, Kelly and Stephen and their families, is endless!!
There are no words to describe how deep our hearts hurt. We are simply devastated as Patti left us way to soon!!
Our children brought us together and she and I were excited to become family. But I was lucky to also have Patti as a close friend. Our visits, with great conversations and much laughter, lunches, shopping, family dinners, planning mile stone events and playing with our grandson Finn, bonded us closer each time. I am grateful to have enjoyed big hugs, Patti’s smile, her kindness, generosity, grace, strength and genuine love. It’s a blessing to have had Patti in my life and every memory in my heart is now a treasure. Patti will be greatly missed but never forgotten!!
Sierra’s words say it best. “Letting go is never easy and in this case, we never will, because this love, Patti’s love, will last far beyond this lifetime.”
With love,
Karen & Bob

To Ken, Stephen, and Kelly,
Words cannot express the loss you must be feeling. Patti, a woman of strength, laughter and kindness will be missed by many.
She touched more lives than any of us can know. I have such fond memories of promoting our Kids Only Clothes together. Having our kids be the models and traveling from home to home meeting and making new friends. Our early days with Kim and the kimettes , singing along with Motown tunes, was always a great way to spend the evenings.
Will miss you, our girl, Patti.
Love, Kymm and Jeff Loch

Dear Ken and family, you are all in my thoughts and prayers as you start this new chapter in your lives. I first met Patti in high school, then those crazy camping years when we all gathered the long weekend in May, where we started in pup tents and eventually graduating to tent condos as families grew. Our lives continued to cross paths in day to day life and finally Tuesday morning golf league. Patti always had a smile on her face and a kind word. Rest in peace Patti, you will be missed.

Dear Ken and family, you are in our hearts. Patti was such a treasure to all! It was the little things. Her smile and warm greeting whenever and wherever you saw her, sharing a handwritten recipe like the, well used, one I’m sharing here as a pic from 30 years ago❣️ We were young mothers together sharing memories of Glen and Stephen playing together way back when. Glen sends his condolences as well. We pray for your broken hearts and for peace for Patti ❤️

I will always be grateful to have had Patti in my life since childhood.
Her joyfulness and tender sensitivity to others enriched my life, and made her a wonderful friend to my mother. As a child, visiting Patti was always something I looked forward to.
As I grew up, speaking to Patti about her thoughts on art and film was always a highlight of visits back home. She always had a creative spark within her, and an appreciation for human expression and deeper meaning. I’m grateful to have gotten to share that enthusiasm with her, and my own interest kindled by her. I remember her bringing me Kelly’s old film text books when I showed interest in movies - a present that sparked my own study and appreciation of art. These moments of warmth and sharing define how I knew Patti to be.
Though I’m devastated to say goodbye, I’m so happy to have had you in life, Patti. You were a true gem ❤️

I was so very sad to hear of Patti’s illness and her passing is heart breaking. She was a ray of sunshine on our golf league. Her sweet smile and her unique laugh/giggle was contagious; her sense of humour, a true delight. It was always a pleasure to golf with Patti as you knew your night was going to be fun regardless of how you golfed! Her eyes would light up when talking about her children, grandchildren and expected grand daughter. She was and is such a beautiful person and I will greatly miss her but I will always treasure my memories.
